Getting started with Sprig is fast and lightweight. In this demo, we walk through how to install Sprig, identify users, and use events and attributes to power precise in-product study targeting, all in just a few simple steps.
First, you’ll see how to install the Sprig SDK, which powers all of Sprig’s in-product capabilities, including surveys, replays, heatmaps, and feedback. Sprig can be installed using low-code methods like Google Tag Manager or Segment, or via direct SDK installation for web and mobile apps. Most teams can get up and running in an hour or two.
Once installed, the next step is identifying users and enriching your data with user attributes, such as plan type, account ID, or company. These attributes help you understand who your users are and allow you to tailor studies to specific audiences. Customers can also anonymize or hash userIDs for further protection against accidental identification.
From there, the next step is event tracking, which captures key user actions like clicks, submissions, or feature usage. Events and attributes work together to unlock powerful targeting so you can trigger the right study, at the right moment, for the right users. Even without custom instrumentation, URL-based no-code targeting works out of the box, while coded events and attributes enable more advanced use cases. Attributes and users can also be uploaded via CSV within the Sprig dashboard.
Finally, you’ll see how these events and attributes are used directly in Sprig’s study builder to configure audience rules, triggers, and filters. Whether you’re launching an in-product survey, replay, heatmap, or feedback study, Sprig makes it easy to go from setup to launch in minutes.
With Sprigs advanced instrumentation, teams can move quickly from installation to insight, building a strong data foundation that ensures every study is timely, targeted, and actionable.
