A message from Nathalia:
As a product designer, collecting feedback on prototypes before you launch saves rounds and rounds of wasted engineering time. It’s crucial to understand your customers' preferences and ensure that your final product meets their needs. This type of testing provides valuable early feedback on the feasibility and desirability of each product concept, and allows you to make data-backed decisions on the right solution to build.
At User Interviews, we needed to run a concept test with real users to validate several early designs of a new dashboard feature. I used Sprig’s unmoderated recorded task because I was pressed for time, had limited bandwidth, and needed to deliver insights quickly to my product team. Concept testing involves presenting a sample of real or prospective users with different product concepts or ideas to gather feedback and validate assumptions about the feature's value and overall appeal.
I loved that I could upload my Figma prototype directly to Sprig, and could program logic based on the various paths participants could take during the test. Importantly, I was able to preview the test in desktop and mobile before launching, to ensure participants would have a smooth experience from end-to-end.
