While Sprig’s automated AI analysis is very advanced in its ability to transform open-text, voice, and video responses into actionable feedback themes, we recently saw a rush of new technology emerge that could make our already award-winning AI even more powerful.
While we were eager to add AI optimizations to our product roadmap, we didn’t know if our customers actually wanted these additional AI capabilities. And every product team knows that a product with no user demand is destined for failure even before launch.
To validate investment in this AI project, we turned to our existing continuous product discovery program, which would help us quickly quantify the sentiment of our large user base while also providing in-depth insights via open-text responses to guide our product requirements.
As you’ll see in this template, the questions included in our continuous In-Product Surveys go beyond NPS/CSAT, enabling us to uncover more nuanced areas for optimization and capture more actionable product solutions. Lo and behold, we found that our continuous In-Product Surveys identified “Improve analysis functionality” as one of the key areas for optimization suggested by Sprig users over the course of 2022.
Actions:
The clear demand for more advanced AI functionality from our user base gave us the conviction we needed to move forward with this AI optimization project and build it into our 2023 product roadmap. To elevate our existing AI analysis tool, Sprig is launching a ChatGPT-powered insights layer that queries across Sprig’s entire dataset (feedback, events, attributes) for analysis and sharing.
