Sprig Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth rules that apply to any party’s (“you,” “your,” or “Company”) use of and/or access to any Services provided by Sprig. This AUP provides guidance on what constitutes misuse of Sprig’s Services, either because the activity violates applicable law, or because it poses a risk to the Services or to other Sprig customers. If you do not agree with the terms of the AUP, please do not access or use the Services. Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings given in the Sprig Services Agreement.
Updates to this AUP
This AUP is effective as of the date set forth above. Sprig may change this AUP by posting an updated version of the AUP at https://www.sprig.com/legal/acceptable-use/. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of any updates to this AUP, as referenced in our Sprig Services Agreement (“Agreement”).
Prohibited Activities
The list below provides examples of prohibited activities and is not comprehensive or exhaustive.
- Content Restrictions. You will not use the Services to upload, store, post, or transmit content that:
- Is obscene, defamatory, libelous, tortious, deceptive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
- Violates anyone else’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- Violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Contains viruses, malware, malicious code, or similar harmful materials that harm, interfere with, or limit the normal operation of the Services; or
- Includes material advocating or advancing criminal hacking, cracking, or phishing.
- Prohibited Conduct. You will not use the Services:
- To engage in deceptive or illegal activities (including “spoofing”, “phishing” or pyramid or similar schemes);
- To transmit spam or other unsolicited communications to other users;
- To publish benchmark or performance information about the Services without our consent;
- In violation of data privacy laws or regulations, including:
- Collecting information without providing adequate notice and obtaining the necessary consent or authorization;
- Collecting or capturing personal data on websites or mobile applications you do not directly own without proper consent;
- Capturing person-to-person communications without end-user consent;
- Capturing sensitive personal data, such as credit card numbers, government-issued IDs, health information, or any other data deemed "sensitive" under applicable law; or
- Transmitting or disclosing information in a manner constituting a “sale” or “sharing” as defined by applicable law for targeted advertising, or otherwise with a third party for the purpose of assembling or commercializing customer profiles.
- To engage in, promote, support, or facilitate hateful, discriminatory, or violent activities, whether online or offline;
- To engage in any activity that we reasonably determine, on the advice of counsel, will cause liability to us.
- No Disruption or Interference. You will not:
- Access the Services through unauthorized means (e.g., scraping, crawling, or penetration testing);
- Disable or interfere with any aspect of the Services or third-party networks or services linked to the Services;
- Try to access other users’ data or accounts without their express permission;
- Reverse engineer, copy, disassemble, or decompile the Services or attempt to derive the source code of the Services;
- Modify, translate, enhance, or change the Services or create derivative works of the Services without express agreement;
- License, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, resell, loan, distribute, or otherwise transfer any rights to the Services;
- Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, or transmit the Services or any related materials.
- Others. You will not permit or encourage others to commit any of the actions above.
Sprig may monitor compliance with this AUP and investigate any violations. If we determine that you or your content violates this AUP, we may remove or suspend access to your content and/or invoke our suspension rights under the Agreement.
Sprig may report any activity suspected of violating any law or regulation to law enforcement officials, regulators, or other appropriate third parties, and cooperate with them to investigate and prosecute illegal conduct, including disclosing information related to the violation of this AUP.
