Our customers are changing how they use Sprig. They’re bringing customer evidence into their AI tools and building research into the workflows that drive product decisions, so increasingly, they want agents to help carry out the research itself.
Today, we’re expanding Sprig MCP to support that shift. Your AI tools and agents can now create, modify, translate, target, and launch studies, with precise control over individual questions, logic, content, and settings.
When we introduced Sprig MCP, we made research available in the AI tools where teams already work with the ability to create studies from scratch. This expansion makes MCP capabilities available through the complete survey workflow: from creation to launch. It’s a major step toward our vision for multi-agent research across design, fielding, analysis, and synthesis, with researchers setting direction and approving the decisions that matter.
Build workflows around the way your team researches
Using Sprig MCP, teams can now build Surveys and In-Product Surveys, refine them as requirements change, and prepare them for launch through a connected AI tool.
The expanded capabilities include:
Capability
What your AI tools and agents can do
Create studies
Build surveys and in-product surveys with questions, blocks, and pages.
Modify and refine
Inspect existing studies, add, update, or remove individual questions and blocks, and adjust study settings.
Control the experience
Configure display and skip logic, randomize questions and answer options, and carry answers forward.
Manage study assets
Upload and manage images and consent documents for your study.
Translate and localize
Create translation jobs, check progress, and update specific translated content as your study evolves.
Configure targeting
Define and update the audience for a study.
Prepare distribution
Create and retrieve invitations for link-based distribution, with up to 10,000 invitation codes per batch.
Validate and launch
Identify issues blocking launch, launch when ready, and pause a study when needed.
Your agents can keep working on the same study as questions, audiences, and requirements evolve.
Granular control, from first draft to launch
You can also implement granular controls directly in a session with your LLM. With Sprig MCP connected, try:
- “Add a follow-up asking why to respondents who rate the pricing page as unclear. Keep the rest of the study unchanged.”
- “Translate this study into Spanish and Japanese. Fill in missing text without replacing existing translations.”
- “Validate this study and list anything blocking launch. Keep it in draft for my review.”
Your study stays in draft until you launch it.
The same foundation for custom integrations
We’re also expanding the Sprig API with 33 new operations for teams building custom integrations and automated workflows. These cover studies, questions, blocks, translations, study assets, invitations, users, visitors, and attribute definitions.
Together, MCP and the API give teams ways to build research into the tools and systems they already use, from a conversation with an AI assistant to a coordinated workflow across agents.
Response-based quotas, panels, and email distribution are not included in this release.
Get started
Enable Sprig MCP in your integration settings, then connect your AI tool.
Start with a study you’re working on: ask your AI tool to review it, make a specific change, or prepare it for another market.
Already connected to Sprig MCP? Refresh in your AI tool to pick up the new capabilities.
For custom API integrations, find your key under Integrations → Enrichment → Data Import API. Admin and Developer roles can access keys; start with your Development key. Sprig MCP uses OAuth for sign-in, and admins can disable MCP access.
