A First Look at Sprig’s Analyze Agent

A First Look at Sprig’s Analyze Agent

October 8, 2026

Ryan Glasgow

Today, we’re sharing a first look at Sprig’s upcoming Analyze Agent, which will bring agentic quantitative analysis to enterprise surveys. It will help researchers identify relevant statistical analyses, run them, investigate follow-up questions, and bring the findings directly into a report.

When we started building research agents at Sprig, our ambition was to bring agents into every stage of a study. Quantitative analysis is a major step in that vision, extending what agents can carry out to the statistical work that supports research decisions. Researchers can describe what they want to understand, direct the investigation, and maintain control over the methods and settings behind it.

What’s coming to Sprig

  • Analysis recommendations tailored to your survey data and study context
  • Built-in data cleaning to help identify and remove low-quality responses
  • Statistical methods including crosstabs, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, and Van Westendorp
  • Natural language controls to configure, refine, and rerun analyses
  • Direct access to analysis settings, with AI optional
  • Completed analyses that move directly into research reports

Together, these capabilities bring quantitative investigation into a connected, agentic workflow. Here’s how researchers will move from an initial question to findings they can review and share.

Start with analyses tailored to your study

The Analyze Agent will use your survey’s structure and study context to recommend relevant analyses. You can begin with a recommendation or describe what you want to understand in natural language.

‍

For a customer satisfaction study, you might ask whether results differ between new and longtime customers. The agent will help translate that question into an analysis you can review and refine, giving you a starting point specific to your research.

Built-in data cleaning will also help you identify and remove low-quality responses before analysis.

Configure and run the analysis

Once you choose an analysis, work with the agent to configure and run it. If you already know which method you need, select it and configure it directly.

We’ve made that flexibility a priority. Researchers should have direct access to the methods and settings behind their work, whether they use the agent throughout an investigation or only for certain steps.

The Analyze Agent will support established methods for customer, product, and market research:

  • Crosstabs: Compare responses across audiences and segments.
  • T-tests: Test differences between two groups or paired measurements.
  • ANOVA: Test differences across multiple groups or repeated measurements.
  • Correlation: Measure the strength and direction of relationships between variables.
  • Van Westendorp: Explore price sensitivity and identify an acceptable price range.

Calculations will run through established packages, including pandas and SciPy. AI will help translate your question into analytical work, while these underlying tools perform the calculations.

Follow the questions that emerge

The part I’m most excited about is what happens after the first result.

If new customers report lower satisfaction, you may want to compare their perceptions of value or explore how value and satisfaction relate within that audience. Each finding can open another direction worth investigating.

The Analyze Agent will let you adjust and rerun analyses through conversation in the same interface. You can follow an unexpected finding through several rounds of investigation, with the agent helping execute each next step. That makes deeper analysis more practical within the time a team has to make a decision.

Bring the findings into your report

Completed analyses will move directly into Sprig research reports, bringing statistical findings into the broader study narrative. You can spend more time explaining what the evidence means and less time recreating results for stakeholders.

You’ll also be able to send an analysis to Claude or your preferred AI tool to explore the findings further with additional context.

‍

AI agents across the research workflow

The Analyze Agent extends Sprig’s family of specialized research agents:

  • Design Agent: Develop studies from research goals and briefs.
  • Field Agent: Deliver personalized survey experiences tailored to respondents.
  • Analyze Agent: Recommend and run statistical analyses to investigate survey results.
  • Synthesize Agent: Transform responses into structured insights and reports.

Our vision is an end-to-end, multi-agent research workflow, with specialized agents carrying out the work and researchers directing the investigation. The Analyze Agent extends that vision into quantitative analysis, helping teams pursue deeper questions and bring stronger evidence into their decisions.

Sprig’s Analyze Agent is coming soon. Book a demo to preview the workflow.
