Who can apply to attend?
The Summit is reserved exclusively for research leaders. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from design or product professionals at this time.
What’s the criteria for the Leadership Track?
The Leadership Track is intended for Director-level and above. Senior research practitioners with significant leadership responsibilities may also be considered on a case-by-case basis. All other attendees will participate in the General Track.
When will I know if I’ve been accepted?
Most applications are reviewed and processed within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may take up to 72 hours for confirmation.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. The Summit is free to attend. Attendance is capped at 100 participants, so we encourage you to apply early to be considered.
Where is the Summit taking place?
The Pearl, 601 19th Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. Cross Streets: 3rd Street & Tennessee. Located in the Dogpatch neighborhood, accessible by K & T Third Street Light Rail, 22 and 48 Muni bus routes, and the 22nd Street Caltrain Station.
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes. The Pearl is fully ADA compliant.
What is included in the event?
Your registration includes a full day of curated programming, peer-to-peer dialogue with research leaders, lunch, and a closing happy hour.
Will sessions be recorded?
No. The Summit is designed for candid, closed-door conversations to encourage open sharing among peers.
What is the dress code?
Smart casual. Comfortable enough for a full day of learning and networking, polished enough for professional conversations.
How many people will attend?
Attendance is capped at 100 research leaders to preserve intimacy and quality of discussion.
What are the parking options near The Pearl?
Street parking is available with restrictions (1hr, 2hr, 4hr). Nearby public pay-to-park lots include Illinois & 18th Street and Crane Cove Park (roughly 40 spaces, 2–3 blocks away). Pricing starts at $20+ depending on the day and Chase Center events.
