What is an MUU (monthly unique user)?

MUUs represent the number of unique visitors who interacted with your application within a calendar month. MUUs are what powers Sprig Enterprise plan’s advanced study targeting capabilities.

How is an MUU different from an MAU (monthly active user)?

Generally, one MAU is equal to one MUU. However, these numbers can differ if you do not install the Sprig SDK across your whole application/website or if you have a large volume of anonymous traffic that can’t be deduplicated.

How can I estimate how many MUUs I need?

To approximate how many MUUs you'll need in your Sprig plan, you can use your monthly active user (MAU) count from your product analytics tool as a starting point.

How is an MUU (monthly unique user) different from a page view?

An MUU represents a unique visitor who interacted with your application within a calendar month, while a page view represents every page load in your application that is detected by a platform’s code snippet. On average, 1 MUU is equal to 1,200 annual page views. When comparing platforms, note that MUU-based pricing often results in a more affordable price point than page view-based pricing.
