As a User Researcher or Product Manager, it’s critical to conduct thorough and insightful research to better understand your target audience and improve your product. But, recruiting participants for research studies can be a time-consuming and challenging process, especially when you’re looking for specific types of users who fit a particular criteria.

That’s where the Sprig survey “Build a Research Panel“ comes in. Sprig allows you to easily invite users to participate in a qualitative research study. Once users express interest in participating, Sprig follows up with screener questions to help ensure that the users who opt in are the right fit for your research study. This means that when it comes time to recruit participants for in-depth qualitative research, you’ll have a pool of users who have already expressed interest in participating and have been screened to ensure they meet your criteria.

For example, let’s say you’re a Product Manager for a new mobile app that helps people track their workouts. You want to conduct a series of in-depth qualitative research sessions with users who have been consistently using the app for at least 3 months. Rather than reaching out to all users indiscriminately, you use Sprig’s event architecture to target users who have taken certain actions, like logging into the platform at least every other day for 3 months.

You then surface the Sprig survey to see if they’re interested in participating and then ask follow up screener questions to ensure they check off all your boxes. Thanks to this targeted approach, you quickly build a pool of qualified participants who are eager to share their feedback and insights with you about your new mobile app.
