Recycled Denim ‘Perfect’ Trench

Why It's Good:

From the drop waist, to the deep bucket pockets, to the perfectly tailored silhouette, it's jackets like this that make us resent a hot forecast. But we'd just rebel by wearing it as a dress. Take that, global warming. We will don trenches this year!

Why It's Green:

Designer Emily Katz cuts the 'Perfect' trench from a recycled denim blend of polyester and hemp. We love recycled clothes because repurposing material makes for less trash in a landfill. And since one of the fabrics spared is hemp, a highly renewable plant, nobody has to saturate it with tons of natural resources during the plant's harvest in order for us to look amazing.
