Why It's Good:
Taub's two-color combo is great for mix-and-matching with any winter outfit, including ones that don't involve a coat—these clean, modern scarves are chic enough to be worn indoors.
Why It's Green:
They're made from bamboo fiber, which is a fast-growing plant and thus a rapidly renewing resource.

Scarf This Down
What ultimately drives human beings to accessorize, I haven't yet discovered (even during my philosophical wanderings as a Sprig.com intern). Pure love compelled me at 13 to don the bright blue/purple/green fuzzy one that my mother's friend knitted and made me look like a caterpillar. Now I masquerade as a temporary Manhattanite in the winter uniform of a black peacoat, skinny jeans, high-heeled boots—and soon (perhaps after I get an actual paying job), Kara Taub's wonderfully bright and winter-chasing Pink Truffle scarf. This scarf can work at any point on the casual-to-professional continuum, and with a white button-down, crisp wool jacket and Seven jeans, forms part of a comraderie that to me says "swank."—Amelia Pak-Harvey
