Don’t Drill, Baby, Drill:

America has less than 3% of the world's oil resources yet we consume almost 25% of the world's oil production. Drilling's not the solution. Through conservation we can decrease our oil demand by 100 billion barrels through 2050.

Chloe Flat

Why It's Good:

With Spring peeking its head around the corner, the perfect peep-toe flat is just what any closet (ready to shed its wool) needs. The dazzling blue chambray flat is made with a rubber composite sole, ensuring that tosies are both stylish and supported.

Why It's Green:

Made with faux leather lining and a rubber composite sole, the Chloe flat, like every pair in Cri De Coeur's line, is made by hand as much as possible. Founded by Gina Ferraraccio, her line promises to be entirely free of animal products and as environmentally friendly as technology will allow. If that's not enough, she has also partnered with the www.carbonfund.org and pledges to plant a tree for every pair of shoes she sells.
